The Range, tuned for your day.
Interpod's activity specific range— using the same four clinically proven design features, tuned for how you spend your day
It's not the shape of your feet. It's how they move.
Pronation and Supination issues can lead to pain from the ground up.
-
PRONATION
Is often confused with having painful flat feet, however all feet pronate. It’s not the flatness of your arch but the strain of your foot rolling inward that can cause pain. Interpod and medical-grade orthotics help resist pronation to prevent aches and pains.
-
SUPINATION
People often confuse high arches with supination but every foot supinates. When the muscles in the leg drive the foot forward, too much strain can eventually lead to injury. Interpod and medical-grade orthotics assist supination, reduce strain and prevent pain and injury.
Effective orthotics resist pronation and assist supination.
What Makes Interpod Different
Four design features to resist pronation and assist supination
Interpod uses the same four design features found in expensive custom orthotics to reduce tissue strain that can lead to pain. These features are backed by University Research - university research
-
Rearfoot Wedge
Resists pronation — a primary biomechanical driver of foot, leg, and back pain. La Trobe University study confirmed Interpod is an effective prefabricated orthotic for controlling rearfoot position.
-
Cuboid Notch
Assists supination during the transition from midstance to push-off, stabilising the lateral column. Typically only found in custom-made orthotics.
-
1st Ray Cutaway
Allows first ray plantarflexion during push-off. Prevents the orthotic from blocking forefoot function — critical for conditions like bunions and metatarsalgia. It's a cutaway under your big toe promoting flexion to support the Windlass system.
-
Plantar Fascial Groove
Reduces the force needed to establish the windlass mechanism — statistically significant (La Trobe University). Unique to Interpod. Improves gait efficiency with every step. Its a groove under the arch that supports the big toes tendon, improving the Windlass, reducing strain.
Interpod's four design features
Support that flexes — built to fit all shoes
NeuroFlex™ is a thin, flexible, lightweight and highly durable material developed by Interpod over 27 years of clinical practice. Compared to standard EVA orthotics, it fits more shoes easily. Its shank-independent design bridges the gap between heel and forefoot without resting on the sole, so it springs under your weight instead of compressing flat — the same approach used in $500–$1,000 custom orthotics.
One of the most extensively researched foot orthotics in the world.
8-Independent Studies, 4-Universities, 3-Countries, 27 Years of Clinical Use.
Medical-grade. Globally certified.
Interpod is a registered medical device, manufactured under internationally recognised quality systems and cleared by the regulatory bodies of Australia, the UK, and the European Union.
The same standards trusted by the brands you already know.
