The Range, tuned for your day
Interpod's activity specific range— using the same four design features, tuned for how you spend your day
In clinical practice orthotic success comes down to three things: the right level of support, fit to your shoe, and comfort. Interpod allows you to do this same process at home, without the expensive manufacturing costs. Not sure which Interpod is right for you?
What Makes Interpod Different
Four design features to resist pronation and assist supination
Four design features — the same ones used in custom orthotics — let the first ray drop so the big-toe joint can bend and the windlass can tighten the arch. That takes work off muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia and bone. The heel wedge and the arch groove have been measured on Interpod at university. The notch and the cutaway are the same design features used in custom orthotics.
-
Rearfoot Wedge
Stops the heel rolling in so the first ray is not pushed up. That takes strain off the arch and the inside of the ankle.
-
Cuboid Notch
Steadies the outer edge of the midfoot so the foot can push off cleanly. Usually only found on custom orthotics.
-
1st Ray Cutaway
A gap in the shell under the big-toe ray so the orthotic does not hold that bone up. The big-toe joint can bend and the arch can tighten. Helps bunions and ball-of-foot pain.
-
Plantar Fascial Groove
It's a groove under the arch so the plantar fascia can tighten with less force. That is the band that often hurts on the first step.
Interpod's four design features
Support that flexes — built to fit all shoes
NeuroFlex™ is a thin, flexible, lightweight and highly durable material developed by Interpod over 27 years of clinical practice. Compared to standard EVA orthotics, it fits more shoes easily. Its shank-independent design bridges the gap between heel and forefoot without resting on the sole, so it springs under your weight instead of compressing flat — the same approach used in $500–$1,000 custom orthotics.
